North London vibes for Emma and Gunnar’s wedding at the Bull and Gate in Kentish Town.

Emma and Gunnar’s wedding in north London was a joyous affair at the beautiful Victorian pub, The Bull and Gate, in Kentish Town.

The day began at their hotel, the Bull and Gate, where the bride and groom prepared together. The bridal party would occasionally pop into the room, creating a relaxed and intimate atmosphere.

We captured some candid moments on the way to the ceremony, but most of our photos were documentary. Unlike our usual 20-30 minute sessions, the couple preferred capturing the party and the day’s unfolding events. We completely understood their preference.

Walking hand in hand to their ceremony, the bride and groom defied tradition by not having their parents walk the aisle with them. The entire room stood, and a cello played a beautiful melody in the background, creating a truly special moment.

Following the ceremony and the legal formalities, they enjoyed a confetti exit, showering themselves with a massive cascade of confetti. On the top floor, they were treated to canapés and cocktails, accompanied by a few group photos. This part of the wedding is perfect for capturing the couple and guests revelling in the joy and camaraderie of the day.

As is customary, speeches and a delicious meal followed. Their big day concluded with a lively party and dancing, leaving everyone with fond memories.

We are incredibly grateful to Emma and Gunnar for entrusting us with their wedding photography at The Bull and Gate.
