Lucy and Ravi had the most colourful wedding we have shot this year, and we mean it. It was colour Full! They married and had their reception at the beautiful Asylum Chapel in Peckham. It was a SriLankan-English tropicana blend. Bold colours, golden pineapples, pink bananas, lots of balloons, flamingos and flowers decorated the the building. They had a “first look” and that kind of thing makes our hearts beat a little faster. We wish all our couples had one. There is so much energy and it’s really special to be there to capture these moments.
Lucy had her dress custom made by Louise at Oh My Honey. Pineapples inserted onto your wedding dress? Hell yes! Ravi’s shirt print was designed by Lucy (She is a textile designer!) and was stitched by a local tailor, his suit was from J Crew.
The day was full of great details and it reflected their vision and the way Ravi and Lucy are, a creative duo who love each other. It was an honour to document this day. All the best for the future guys!
